As the minutes to the end of 2008 ticks towards 2009, it always the time to recap the moments of the past year. I must say 2008 has been a good year for me. 2009 should be even better. Let's just see about that.

My birthday had been good. Even though there wasn't a party. No booze. No music. Having the company was enough.

Now, it's time for new year resolution making. Writing it down somewhere makes it real.

1. Live a healthier lifestyle.
2. Pick up a new skill (dancing maybe? or scrapbook making?)
3. Go for my BTT.

Three resolutions seems achieveable. Of course a not-so-secret resolution would be to find myself a bf. Haha. But lack of time (and perhaps poor time management) seems to be preventing it. Therefore, must look "around" more. Not so easy, I would say. But still, hope for the best.

A post-Christmas, pre-birthday celebration with friends... Met C and A at NYDC wheelock place... Yummy food...


After dinner, it was party time. Me and C headed down to Thumper. Got really high and into the music. 1 cocktail, 1 beer, 1 shooter and 1 martini later, we're in some cam-whoring action...





Dance. Dance. Dance. Managed to get home but in total spinning action. Even when I woke up in the morning. Not enough sleep and I still have to head to the salon in the morning for my hair appointment.

Merry Christmas one and all...

Both Christmas eve and Christmas Day has been this gloomy, rainy weather... Which is sorta like snowing (liquid style)... Oh no... Did I say style? Haiz... Stop getting into my thoughts... They say Christmas is spending time with the family... But what do you do when it seems like you have no family?

Xmas night... I actually had a nightmare... What a "beautiful" dream... Maybe something yet to come... It has always been lying there under the surface...

Twilight was good. I wanted to watch it with someone initially. More surprises in the dark. Turned out to be a group movie. Which is cool too. Feel like watching it again... Totally in love with the story... The story of a love separated by a thin line...

Went down to Siglap after the show and slacked there. So near yet so far... No replies as yet... Is that fine? I'm not sure... I just took it as easily as I can... But for sure it affects me... Even more than it did those previous times... I nv cried after those breakups... I cried for you...

Xmas Day @ Vivo is crazy... Had marche as lunch at 3++... Xmas feast with best friend... Yummy... Rosti.LambChops.Pasta.MushroomSoup.RootBeer(faux beer)... Good catching up with gossip... At least it temporarily fills my mind up with something else other than the hurting stuff...

Went shopping after that.... Super crowded... Luckily La Senza is one of the less crowded shops... Bought 2 bras... One red, one green (xmas colours!!)... I have upgraded... Keke... Finally, my first front-clasped...

After walking in and out of a few other shops (totally unable to see much things with all the people around), we headed to Bakerzin for some yummy food (again!!).

Kayaking in the sea, cycling on roads and rough terrain, climbing up steep trails...

It was a total great fun on Pulau Ubin with Grace, Darren and Germaine, together with the OIS colleagues. Adventurous learning trip which allows us to get out of office for one day and away from the technology in our work... It feels strangely relieving not to be carrying around a laptop... I somehow feels that others are feeling more stress being in the natural outdoors though...

Initially, without insect repellent, I thought I will be surely bitten alive... Surprisingly, I encounter more cuts and scratches than bites...

Final Count
Bites: 7
Scratches: 8
Sunburnt: Arms and legs
Aches: ASS!


I like the sea expedition more... Seems like it is physically less exertive than the land one... But the aches and the burns from the sea is terrible...

After we headed back to mainland, we decided to treat ourselves to buffet!! Yummy!!

The sunday before a public holiday always feel great.... Spent the day painting at home... New year is coming... Tired... And hungry... Home delivery dinner... Yum... :P

Yesterday I went movie with Carrie. Watched Bolt. Watch until cry lor... Haha... It was really touching ma... Cute puppy...


Shopping again... Bought a lot of stuff... Not helping the state of brokeness I am feeling right now...

One year already. It has been another year in an unbelievable fast time. I really hope I have had a fruitful one year. But I dunno... I am not sure...

Corporate retreat... Sharing, food, games... This year's held in school... Abit boring... And board games seem aimless... I rather be outside...
